Owner's manual for AXXERA AV614BH

Our 2015 A. C. E. came with this installed and it has enough features to confuse an old man. It came with a "Quick start guide" that gives a basic overview without a lot of details or explinations. The QSG gives a web site to download a complete owners manual or a phone number to call for one. When I go to the website all I find to download is the QSG which I allready have. I called the phone number and they offered to e-mail it to me. I told them I wanted a real copy a week and a half ago and still haven't got anything. Has anyone else requested and recieved a complete manual? Thanks, Jim.

Given this thread you may be asking about my thoughts regarding updating my Jensen JRV212 to the JRV215?
So far I have removed the 212 and am awaiting the arrival of the 215 (looks to be a two week lead time on that guy).

Thanks much, this is more than I could find on my own. I was hoping to learn more about the "Bluetooth" features and operation. I know absolutley nothing about any of that, guess I will have to research those features at "Bluetooth." I feel kind of left out when it comes to a lot of things. I am not looking foreward to someone asking about the microphone and I have no idea what it actually does. Jim.

Th microphone is used when your cell phone is connected to the radio via Bluetooth.

The wife has the "smart phone" but it does not have "Bluetooth" well at least not activated. I do well with a phone that makes calls and texts and have no real desire for anything more. Looks like the best solution would be to just hid the microphone and pretend it does not exist. Thanks, Jim.

She has blue tooth some where on that phone. I have that set up in my Dodge Truck, now would not be with out it. When we go to park the fifth wheel she gets out and calls me and directs me in. No more wild guess what I am doing signals. I also can tell her to move so I can see her. PS she still does the neat signals using her phone as a pointer.

What was your source for the JRV215? What price?

The only place you seemingly can get it online is here:
Jensen Stereo, AM/FM/CD/USB/BT/iPOD/Sirius/Navi
In addition, they are calling it a special order item which makes it take longer to get (and probably has some return restrictions).
If you download the owners manual (like from here:
http://www.jensenmarinedirect.com/do...ers_manual.pdf ) you see on page 9 that the wire harness (part 31300152) is mentioned as "Sold Separately". Since I haven't received mine yet I don't know if that harness is included or not. I've been scouring the internet for that harness in the event that I have to get it. So far I've found two possible candidates (one on Amazon and one on eBay). I'll know which one is the proper one when the 215 arrives (hopefully within a couple of weeks).
I pulled the 212 out so we're ready for the 215:

(Another unknown is if I have to pull out that collar and install the one that came with the 215--I'm hoping not.)

I went to the axxera web site and sent an email to customer support from the web site. I received the manual in a day or two. I actually got it on a Sunday.

I just opened the Axis and when I turtned the Axxera 614 BH radio on, the back-up camera and some of the screens are reversed. Anyone know how to reset the polarity of some of the video screens?

I think you need to explain it a bit more. What exactly is "reversed"?

When you have the back up camera on screen, you should be seeing a mirror image of what is behind you, just as you would if you were looking in an actual review mirror.

When the left turn signal is on, you should be seeing the lane on the driver's side. Likewise when the right turn signal is on you will be seeing the lane on the passenger side of your coach.

If this is not what you are seeing then you need to visit your dealer and have them correct it.

The rather brief AV614BH manual does not cover the review cameras as the cameras are not part of the radio system.

If you click a link on the quick reference left panel (it is not obvious) it will download the detailed manual in PDF format.

This one is 32 pages and has a lot more detail than the quick start.
It has a whole chapter on Bluetooth, for example.

Does not make the touch GUI or the remote easier to use, but it is slightly easier to understand.

in my Vegas 25.2 I select Link with my phone plugged into the dash HDMi and receive a plug in device message....so its either not plugged in or the phone isn't compatible, right? I have a droid Turbo. The dash USB does charge my phone...
Is there a source to instruct on accessing the back of the radio to see if the HDMI cable is plugged in?

Bill, I have no issues with an iPhone plugged into the connectors on the right bottom of the center console, next to the small open area. This USB supplies power only. The USB connector in the radio (bottom left, under the rubber cover) is for playing music from a thumb drive.

If yours is not working, it is easy to use the included tools in the radio box to pop out the radio and check that the connectors are plugged into the back of the radio.

Try yo reset the unit as described open page 10 of the manual.
