Palazzo AC won’t turn on

Traveling to Florida, 1st trip of the season. Stopped overnight and used the heater while generator was on. Today while driving tried to turn AC units on and nothing...no fan, no air. Even though breakers weren’t tripped we turned off and on but still nothing. Any ideas?

You don't need the generator to run the furnace. If you mean heat pump, then yes you do.

You do need the generator to run the A/C while driving.

You do need 12 VDC on the house bus to run either one. what's the status of your house batteries and battery disconnect (USE/STORE) switch?

if you're saying that you tried to run the roof a/c units while driving, without also running the generator, then , no, they only work on 120v power...

or, if you're saying you did also run the generator, while driving, and turned on the a/c units and got nothing, chances are the generator's own breaker is tripped, on the unit itself.

it's also quite possible last night that the use of heaters tripped the generator's breaker, even though you may not have realized it since the generator would have still be 'running', just not providing any 120v power... which can get confusing, since you still have 120v power from the INVERTER, even without the generator running, but only to SELECT circuits, generally only the outlets within the coach.
