Panhandle Hurricane Prep Group 2022
Lots of posts and comments on this subject...so...let's form a group/program together. Anyone near the central panhandle or nearby wishing to team-up on a planned evacuation/relocation program whereby we can bring specific skills into a group and get through a possible disaster together...post it here. We'll see if enough interest develops into a plan that might be beneficial. If enough are interested we can take it to another level and start a more private communication link. When living in Atlanta, we saw on more than one occasion, people forced from their homes, head west from the Atlantic coast or north from Florida and camping/sleeping in their cars all over the place...with nothing. Having RV's takes it to the next level. Traveling in numbers substantially increases the odds all needs will be met. Hurricane Michael is the classic example. This could expand with other formed groups around the south in the event people have to evacuate this way or vice versa. I have room for 2 or 3 RV's on my small property here. Campgrounds along the evacuation routes fill up quick. Who's in??
