Propane

Hello
I have a 2021 hurricane motorhome and was wondering if I can hook up a 200# self standing propane tank
The unit will be seasonal this year
Thanks in advance
Ron

i have a 100 gallon tank just for that when are home long time
it runs stove and heat if i dont use the heat pumps

i tee d into lp line near mt water heater as access was great
used gas approved valves and caps an ran flexible lp line up to the valve.
have a gas professional do the valves to make sure you are all good and no leaks

Stay and play

Search for "Stay and Play Propane kit" at your favorite RV parts store.

The motorhome doesn't know what size tank is hooked to it. Just make sure you don't double regulate it. As mentioned, the "Extend-A-Stay" device is excellent and designed for exactly what you wish to do.

Look around any long term campground and you’ll see plenty of RV’s connected to external tanks of various sizes.
