This is not a regulator it's a restrictor & restricts the flow regardless of actual pressure. I would recommend tossing it
and getting this, it's a regulator.
It usually comes preset at 55 psi which means anything more It will regulate the pressure to 55, anything less it will not affect the flow, but will not increase low pressure.
The majority of the parks/campgrounds we've been to have 35-40 psi water pressure which is very low then add the restrictor restricting the flow & it's even worse. But we've been to others with 80-100 psi & I would not rely on that restrictor to prevent over pressuring the system.
There are 2 items I ALWAYS connect regardless where we are, #1 water pressure "regulator" & #2 surge protector/ems.
