pump under outdoor sink Windsport 29M

We went on our first camping trip this weekend. The only issue that I has was the sink in the outdoor kitchen would not drain? I pulled the sponge draw out and looked inside and there is a small electric pump under the sink, not sure what it does or how it operates ???

Check under you cabinet. Should be a switch.

There is a switch under the cabinet, it pumps the water out.

Thanks writing this. We finally found the switch! Wish the dealership would have mentioned it during our walk through!

I am curious where your outside sink pumps to?

I have the 29VE with outside drain switch as well; which is located on back wall on top of the counter. Ours pump the outside kitchen drain to the black tank. Our bathroom sink drains to the gray tank.

It is not simply a pump but a Surflo macerator. The model number is 3200-001. Mine is plumbed into the gray water tank. The low water drains are usually under the outside sink for most coaches.

How does that work? Is the switch under the outside kitchen sink on/off switch; or is it a momentarily on switch? Mine is momentary switch; so it would seem kind of awkward to have to reach under the sink to find the switch to hold it to drain the sink? I have thought about replacing mine with On/Off switch but I am sure if I do, I will leave it on by mistake, especially when there is no water to drain.

Also what is it macerating to go to the gray tank? Seems like given it is a macerator pump, that it goes to black?

Mine , which is a 2020 29m, has a hold to go switch. You let off and it stops. It's super loud. The position of the switch itself is not awkward at all. Easy flip to drain. As for the macerator, you need a pump and I guess they figured you might get food in there, it is an outdoor kitchen and all, so they need to chop it up before they pump it out. I verified it pumps to grey tank.

It’s primary purpose is not chopping up food. The primary purpose is to pump the drain water uphill into the waste tank. The sinks in the outdoor kitchen on Thor models sits below the waste tank plumbing.

First my black water tank is about 12 ft from the outside sink and the gray water tank is about 18 inches away. It is up hill from the sink train to the top of the gray water tank so a conventional P trap won't work nor will a HepvO valve. What I need is pump that will seal the tank gasses from the sink when the pump is run dry. My monetary switch is on the underside of the cabinet just to the right of the sink. A very convenient place for a wet finger to drain the sink.

On our 2015 Challenger 37ND the water flowed from the sink into a Hepvo then into the macerator to the grey tank.

The outdoor sink. should have either a Hepvo or some other one way valve that allows water to flow to the macerator but not back into the sink.

I suggest you review your waste water diagrams to see how the outdoor kitchen is plumbed. The diagrams are available from Thor.

Thor Freedom elite macerator pump

I am new to this forum. We recently purchased a 2016 Freedom Elite 29 fe class C. When I push the switch to turn on the macerator pump it will not work. I don't see any bad fuses or a dedicated fuse to it. I am referring to the pump under the outdoor kitchen. Suggestions?
