But if your "use/store" switch is working properly: shouldn't the "store" position kill power to everything in the Coach?

You would think ! ... However, we have been on this Forum long enough to know that the build of each and every RV can vary ... perhaps our Jensen is wired to the Chassis battery...who knows...when our Jensen is turned off..the backlight remained on...therefore, to be on safe side, we turned off the backlight. We seldom use that radio, as we have Bluetooth speakers ...and when we use the outside TV, seldom, speakers are apparently, wired to the TV as they work without the radio in play.

It appears, that we all must learn the quirky things about our individual units.

YES... It absolutely SHOULD... That is it's purpose in life...
Many have a different experience.

So each rig actually has it's own personality: imagine that!
I wonder when the manufacturing processes will catch up to Henry Ford, and his Model-T??

Your LP/CO detector, some/most coach radios, some electric slide controllers stay connected as the slides may extend if not powered, plus some other items. If you want to totally disconnect either disconnect battery cables or add another disconnect directly to battery cables.

From your questions on what the two radios are, did your dealer not do a Pre Delivery Inspection with you? Did they not go through all the items on your coach and explain how they function, how to use them.....etc? If not, maybe you certainly should try to arrange some more time with them. Or take your unit some place and talk to a fellow RVer, explain to them your new,and ask them to do a walk through with you.
Peterrrr, good suggestions. I am also a total newbie and when I got my PDI with one of the dealer's service guys, it was like drinking from a firehose, just too much to retain for someone with no RV experience. I fortunately learned quickly from experienced users in these forums and spent some time with the many user manuals in my Thor bag. I especially liked your suggestion to find an experienced RV user and ask for help.

Great analogy. When we did our PDI my wife stopped him after about 2 minutes and had him start from the beginning and did a video of the entire thing. We did the same thing when they showed us how to hook up the toad via the BlueOx tow bar. Comes in very handy.

Good plan. When I picked up my tow dolly and was shown how to load it, it was 105 degrees and both the dealer rep and I just wanted to get done and back into the air conditioned building. I towed my car home and then had a heck of a time unloading it because we had rushed through too quickly. A video would have been nice. With the help of the tow dolly owner's manual and a helpful neighbor, I finally manged to get it unloaded and out of the middle of our cul-de-sac. I found a YouTube video and, along with my tablet, did my own training session before we made our first trip with the toad.
