All E-450 come with 4.56 final gear ratio.
E-350 can have either 4.10 or 4.56 final ratio, it’s an option.
The axle gear ratio is specified in VIN.
In my opinion a 3.73 ratio would be good for smaller and lighter motorhomes like Axis/Vegas given small diameter tires and high torque from 7.3L V8, but Ford hasn’t used that ratio in Cutaway or Stripped chassis in a very long time if I recall correctly — you would have to go back to when they offered diesel I think. I have 3.73 in my E-350 with V10 gas but it’s a van, not a Cutaway or Stripped Chassis. It still has 18,500 GCWR the same as present E-350 with either 4.10 or 4.56.
The E-450 is required to get higher 22,000-pound GCWR.
