2020 Siesta Sprinter 24MB

Good evening everyone. Hope all is well in these trying times.

I'm considering purchasing the above coach and was wondering if anyone has one (or something similar) and can offer any feedback on it. Also any feelings about General RV? This is one of the few reasonably priced diesel coaches with a Murphy bed which we really like.

Appreciate your thoughts.

Bob

I have a 2016 Siesta Sprinter the 24ST, rear twin model. Over 4 years and 50,000 miles, basically trouble free..
The murphy bed model is more open during day use. The rear bath is a nice feature. Like any RV, the layout you prefer is very important.
The Sprinter models are easy to drive, reliable and economical.. Mercedes dealer routine maintenance costs are high, but oil change interval is 20,000 miles. This may be different on new models..
Enjoy..

I've also got a Sprinter, and fully agree!
MB quality is pretty tough to beat...

Thanks, Bob.
That's good to hear.
Appreciate the feedback and hope you're dong OK in NY. I grew up in NJ, but wouldn't want to be there now.

Although my sister still lives there (Down the shore, as they say) I was pretty much gone once I went away to college (UNC, Chapel Hill) so I forgot about using the exits on the GSP as reference points. Exit 148, Bloomfield Avenue to Verona where I grew up. It was a good place and time to be a kid.

Grahamsville is in the Mid-Hudson region: about 100 North of NYC

Our 2017 was on a 2016 MB chassis. It was very drive-able, ran great, and I often got 17 or 18MPG.

I am on my 2nd Mercedes Benz Sprinter Chassis motor home. My current one is the 2018 Sprinter 24SS built on a 2017 MB Chassis. I love the Mercedes Benz Sprinter Chassis. Easy to drive and plenty of torque. I just had my first scheduled maintenance at just under 20,000 miles. Last year we drove cross country and put over 11,000 miles on it. The 24SS has 2 slide outs(dinning and rear bedroom). I also have The Summit Package which has a lot of nice features including the diesel generator, mobileye, solar to name a few. I did add The Equalizer Hydraulic Leveling System. It did come with the rear stabilizers but I like the 4 point hydraulic leveling system. I also now carry a spare tire that I put on a hitch mounted tire carrier. There are many modifications that you can do yourself that are easy to make it more comfortable.
