Wiring codes or diagram for Ignition switch.

I have a 1998 Hurricane Class A motorhome. I've been broken into twice. This time around they distroyed my Ignition switch lock cylinder. I'm doing so they broke the portion of the column where it mounts and connects to the switch. I'm attempting to wire an in dash switch. I found a Ford ignition switch diagram with the correct colors, but , in my initial attempt. I turned on the chassis electrical and got a buzzing noise and the chassis electrical switch doesn't engage. I need a diagram for the F53 chassis ignition switch ( column mount switch) . Searched and couldn't find one. HELP!. Sorry for the long post.

Don't bother with Thor, they won't have it. But I'm sure Ford will be happy to sell you a service manual on CD for several hundred dollars. Or you can buy the electrical diagrams in PDF format online for $70 or less.

Yep, Ford only. 1998, slim chance Ford has it in stock.

Thanks for your replies. My chassis battery is completely shot, causing my switch problem. So, my wiring may still be correct. To be continued.
