We also bought a couple of yards of extra fabric to make pillows and the bottom trim below the chairs that you can see in the picture. I think we got the extra fabric for about $10. They will send you samples for no charge.
I went with the RecPro recliner sofa as well, and took out the 87" L-shaped seating system. The old L-shaped sofa was not very comfortable, and it was difficult for 2 tall people to stretch out to relax at the same time. It was a bit of work to dissemble the L-shaped part of the couch, but I had no problem getting any of the pieces out of the motorhome door. Nor was there any issue whatsoever with getting the new pieces into the door.

The new RecPro recliner sofa has 3 recliners, and I was still short about 9" in the opening, so I bought the 9" center console piece from RecPro and added it on to the right end. I'm very pleased with how it turned out. I, too, bought 2 yards of material for less than $20 from them in the event that I want to recover the dinette booth with the same fabric.

I want to swap out my jackknife couch in my RV for two recliner chairs in my 2017 thor Gemini RV but I can't find any that fit?
I would really appreciate any suggestions?
Thanks

Well there you go, the RecPro.com double recliner with center console should work just fine. I used them in my previous Axis and they were great.

If you note: They said they have a Gemini, not sure if its the same 67" in their Gemini as an Axis/Vegas (I also swapped out our couch with recliners, the specs on my recliners said 68").

sevans: Which model Gemini do you have?

If you need something skinny like we do in our ACE 27.1, and you are cheap like me, check out this dual-reclining loveseat with storage in the armrests, 57" wide covered with microfiber:

Here is what we did in our 2017 ACE 30.3 Replaced the very uncomfortable jackknife sofa with a very comfortable double recliner with center console from shopforseats.com We love the new seats! It was easy to install and the seatbelts are still useable. Great modification.

I also took the shelf that was behind the original sofa and made a arm rest/ cup holder for the Passenger side front seat. Wife loves it! I also used the remainder of the shelf and added it the the bathroom for an over the toilet shelf.

Looks real good I'm in the process of making the one for the wife, but like your shelf on bathroom.[emoji106]

I don't even like it when the Missus moves my chair around in the living room.

But I'm curiously drawn to the idea of an "RV Make-over"!

Here is what RecPro says about their products:
Quote:
RecPro™ is located in Bristol, IN in Elkhart County, which is the largest producer of boats and RV's in the country. Our area is known for innovation and manufacturing. We develop, manufacture and import our own products in addition to selling Atwood, Suburban, SHURflo and other quality name brand products. We buy direct and warehouse large quantities so we can offer the best prices and the fastest shipping. No long waits, drop shipping or "out of stock" emails after you order. If you order it we will ship it within 24 hours during weekdays.
Not sure that really tells us anything other than they might make their own recliners.

Interesting, Shop4Seats where we picked up our recliner sofa from claims to make their furniture:

THey do make their stuff. I mentioned this before that their shop is a few miles from my house. Big shop area used to make anything.

When I said made in China i was referring to Rec Pro. And this is just a guess

Steven B, would you share the model or part number on those seats and the fabric or leather color or code? They look absolutely perfect for my coach and I’m about done with the jack knife sofa. Thank you.

Did the new recliners stay the same height while sitting?

I’m not sure I understand the question so forgive me if this isn’t what you’re asking. They are actually 3 distinct pieces, 2 chairs and one center console. So when you are reclined in one the other stays in its original position.
