Removing sticker on floor

We just took delivery of a 2017 Miramar 35.2. When we entered the coach there was a big blue sticker on the floor from the manufacturer the flooring. Beaufort placed a big blue sticker on the flooring. The dealer told us if we remove the sticker it leaves a sticky residue on the floor that will not come off and it just collects dirt and we will end up with a big dirty circle on the entry way. It is a vinyl floor. Is there any way to remove the sticker and the residue and damaging the floor?

I used " Goo Gone " to get the adhesive residue off of our Vegas floor . It is a citrus based cleaner that will safely remove the adhesive left from that sticker.
I think Walmart sells it.
The sticker itself can be peeled off and then you can go after the left over adhesive

WD-40 does a great job on sticker residue too.

We had a big sticker on our floor at the top of the steps. I peeled up the sticker and Goo Gone removed the mess, with several paper towels.

We had the same sticker which was removed by the dealer as part of their pre-delivery cleaning. We also had a large sticker on the windshield which the cleaning crew missed and had to remove before we accepted delivery.

We had the same sticker. De-Solv-it worked great to remove the residue.

Thanks for all of the input. I went with Goo Gone and it worked great !! You would never know that there was a sticker there. I passed on using peanut butter because my 2 dogs would probably lick a hole in the floor. I will definitely let the sales rep know that there is an easy way for them to remove stickers !!

ronmeier, how are you liking the 35.2? We really like that model but are looking at the 35.3 right now. We might be ordering a 2018 this weekend. This will be our first motorhome as we have a TT right now.

We love it !! We still can't get over how roomy it is. We had a Forest River Georgetown and then we saw the 35.2. We just picked it up a couple of days ago and have not gone on a trip yet -still packing it - but we are extremely happy with it. Lots of storage inside and underneath and it handles very well on the road. Based on how happy we are with it now I would venture to say this will be the last one we buy !!

I had to chuckle when I read this - it's a statement I have made many times. If only I could learn to stay away from the RV shows!
