Curb or Unladen Weight of Vegas 25.3

hi

I am trying to register a coach that I just purchased and I would appreciate some help. I bought the coach from someone in NC and I am in NY. I will will be traveling down to pick it up and then driving back up north. That is if I can get it registered in NY.

NY State DMV is asking for the Unladen weight. I have the Gross Veichle Weight of 12,500 pounds and I did the math to subtract water, gas etc and came up with a number that is reasonably close. When I do that I get 11,290.

I have looked up the VIN on Thor's Owner's Resource page but I can not find the number that I am looking for.

If anyone has a 2016 Vegas 25.3 and can get that number I would appreciate it.

thanks

HW

I believe you want the Unloaded Vehicle Weight (UVW). My Thor owners manual defines UVW as GVWR - (OCCC+LP). OCCC is found on the yellow sticker on either the driver or passenger door.

As an example. My coach GWVR is 14500, OCCC is 3269 and LP is 40. UVW is 11191 if my math is correct.

There should be a weight listed for you on the Title.
(not the GVWR...)

Thanks, That is exactly what I need however I currently have no access to the coach. It's in for some repairs before I fly down to drive it to it's new home. If someone has those numbers for a 2106 Vegas 25.3 I would really appreciate it so I can deal with it getting registered.

How critical is it to have the exact number? Does it make any difference if you tell them 11,000 lbs but it really is 11,100 lbs?

The 25.2 on the same 350 chassis with a GVWR of 12,500 lbs has an OCCC of 1,400 lbs so it's empty weight would be 11,000 lbs.

I couldn't find the OCCC of the 25.3 model.

A quick call to Thor with the VIN and they should be able to tell you. OCCC is by VIN.
