Replace sleeper sofa in a 2013 Thor Challenger 36D

Hi Everyone!
We bought the above RV and on the sofa sleeper, the mattress is an air mattress. Can that be replaced with a regular sleeper sofa with a real mattress? In addition, the "faux leather" is peeling horribly. Because the cushions are attached, finding a cover is nearly impossible.

Have any of you experienced this and have any solutions?

Thanks so much!

First: Welcome to our campfire!
There a tons of sleeper sofas available. Just pick the one that fits your available space, and has the features that you want.
The peeling vinyl...
This was an industry-wide issue back then.
We have a couple of recent threads in here addressing this issue. They'll list quite a few sources for ways to recover your furniture.

thank so much for responding. I was just wondering if they have an airmattress there because it is lighter than a sleeper sofa. It is on the slide out and would a regular sleeper sofa be to heavy?

I don't have one' so I'm not sure of the limitations...
But I would think that only an air mattress can be folded up into a sofa-sized package. A regular mattress seems pretty bulky...
(IMHO)
