Retirement Today!!! WOO HOO!!
For those we've already met across the roads, you know what a charm April is. Today is her last day...what an emotional day this is. She has worked in the finance business all her life in commercial trucks, primarily Mack and Volvo. She is a legend in this industry. I prayed years ago for an Angel. God sent me one and she's never left my side. We almost lost her in July last year to a horrible head on collision. Angels do exist and they look out for each other!! We look so forward to meeting many of you in the months and years ahead!!

Congratulations ! Wife and I retired on the same day five years ago. Best gig we've ever had !
There is definitely life after retirement. Enjoy every second of it.

We've both spent and saved a fortune for this day...now...the fun begins!! She's a huge list maker. The first thing on her list for Monday morning...go spend the day at the nursing home where both her parents passed. She goes there often taking food and things for the residents and employees whom have become good friends of hers. That's April!!

New Journey
Congrats April on the start of a new journey. This one doesn't include alarm clocks, time tables, SERIOUS schedules or worries. That is unless you are worried about where to take the RV next!
Wife and I just spent the whole day in PJ's drinking coffee and watching You Tube travel videos. 
Welcome to the land of Leisure or as my jealous younger brother aptly puts it you have entered the "Everyday is Saturday" portion of life!

Retirement
Gritz,
I have conversed with you in the past and have always appreciated your input. I have come to this obvious conclusion that we won't always have the opportunities to do the things and travels we wish. A fact of life. Do it while you (we) can. Maybe one of these travels, our paths may cross. Coffee is on me. We have a trip to Virginia planned next year by the way...
