Pink Antifreeze

We purchased a Four Winds 22ft Class C RV. This is the first time I have ever winterized. I accidently closed all the valves where the bypass valve is for the hot water tank. I got some pink antifreeze coming out of the drain valve on the hot water tank. Im hoping this wont be a problem?
I had a heck of a time finding the low point drains, finally found them at the very back under the RV.
I drained the fresh water tank, drained the hot water tank, blew out the lines and added the pink antifreeze.
For some reason I thought I should check the low point drains one more time. The cold drain line, pink came out. The hot drain line, clear water came out. I added more pink till it came out pink. As you can tell Im new.

Shouldn't be a problem. RV anti-freeze is non-toxic. Just flush the hot water heater in the spring and you should be good. You can buy a small wand the connects to a water hose that will go inside the water heater and flush it out.

Yup! You should be good to go. . For next year: do an internet search on winterizing your RV, and you'll be well-entertained...

Did you open the bypass valve for the WH? Shutting the "cold in" and "hot out" valves are part of the process. There's another valve just before those two that normally stays closed, but when you winterize you open it...allowing the cold water to "bypass" the WH. Then you can just drain the WH, replace plug and leave it empty.
