Satellite Prepped?

We just bought a 2011 Four Winds class C. I was told it was prepped for satellite. What does that mean? How do I install one? I just want a portable unit. I had a roof mounted dome on my class A so I have the DirecTv receiver.
Thanks for any help.
Bob

IMO...
It doesn’t mean much
Only that you can attach your satellite cable to the RV cable port on the outside of the Coach.
Then you might be able to watch the same channel on all TVs

Most new Dome Dishes require that the R6 cable go directly to the receiver
Then, for best quality picture, from receiver goes an HDMI cable to each TV.

I doubt that your 2011 was wired that way.

That said, it can be done correctly, just a bit of extra labor required.

If you’re mounting permanently on roof, best to run satellite cable thru roof at same access as Over The Air antenna cable.
Then place all your receiver components in that interior area where cabling enters.
Then run your HDMI lines to TVs or connect to the TV cable (via HDMI to R6 cable converter) for ez runs to the TV.
Some on this Forum have used a wireless system which eliminates cabling altogether.

It all depends on what you’re trying to accomplish.
