Loss of power at lower speeds.
Brand new 2016 Axis 24.1 and I am already having problems with only 2000 miles on the clock.
Purchased my Axis at CW in Chattanooga, Tenn. this past April after trading in my Class C. Driving out of Camping World for the first time with just 600 miles on the speedo the Engine Lite came on but went off after a hour or so. Engine ran fine on the interstates with no lack of power evident. Exited interstate for rest brake and the engine felt like it was running out of gas: stumbling and hesitating whenever accelerator was applied. When completely stopped engine idles fine and will rev up with no hesitation. But put tranny in gear and start moving out it hesitates very badly. If engine is cold the hesitation is not there at all. It feels to me that the engine is not getting enough gas and that the fuel filter is clogged or possibly the fuel pump is not supplying sufficient fuel at low speeds.
Any one else had this type of problem with their units?? My old Class C never had a engine related problem.
Appreciate and comebacks with help of any kind.
I am a newbie on this forum and I am happy to see it is very active.
Planning on taking our Axis to Oregon the end of this month and am hoping to get the engine gremlins eliminated.

Usually the V10s are bulletproof. I'd find a Ford dealer willing to take a look; Campingworld would be of no help in this instance.

I agree with Jamie's comment. I will also add that when you call the Ford dealer give them the length and height of your coach. Many dealers do not have bays large enough to accommodate a motor home and you may have to find a Ford Heavy truck dealer.
Unless there is something seriously wrong, the Ford dealer can usually get you in within a couple of days and out the same day you go in.

Sounds like a coil pack going bad Go to Ford and have it checked out

Call Ford customer service, phone number should be in your owners manual. Our 2015 ACE 30.1 had a problem with a power steering leak. I called Ford CS and explained the problem and they took care of it from there. Offered to tow it to a dealer, which was not necessary. They found the nearest dealer that could accomidate the MH, contacted them, explained the problem and that it was under warranty. All I had to do was call the dealer and set up an appointment, everything fixed at no charge and in a timley manner. Jim.

Thanks all for the quick response to my problem. I ended up calling Ford Customer Service and they found a Ford dealership that could work on my Motor Home. They only problem is we live in Up State New York which is close to nowhere. So I will have to drive it about 80 miles to get it over to Vermont. It is only 30 miles or so to the dealership as the crow flies but people forget I have a lake between where I have to go and the lake is over a 100 miles long.
Oh well, just hope they can get it fixed. They want me to drop it off but I will try to get them to look at it the same day. Otherwise I will have to tow my pickup over and drive it back.

You need a Ford Dealer that handles MH's or medium duty trucks
to get your problem worked on. Here in my area of Colorado no Ford car dealer will touch my MH only choice is a local Medium/Heavy Duty Ford dealer in the Denver area that also handles the MH chassis warranty work.

I had the same issue with my Vegas. After several Ford techs checked and found no engine problems, it was determined that I was inadvertently touching the brake pedal. This caused the accelerator transmitter to cut power. The brake and gas pedals are very close, and I wear an ankle brace because of an injury, and didn't realize I was touching the brake the same time I was accelerating. Problem solved.
