sewer compartment cover

We have a 2015 Vegas 24.1.
The sewer compartment opening where we attach the sewer hose, is threaded. Am I right in assuming there should be a cover for this?

As it is, a lot of dirt gets blown into this compartment while driving.

We are way out of warranty, so I would just purchase a cover, if anyone knows what I need.

As always, thank you for any help.

Yes you can get the cover that somehow disappeared in your unit.

Yes, there's a cover that screws into the threads. I would contact Thor customer service about getting a replacement or mention it to the dealership where it was bought about getting it replaced.

Most any rv supply store will have the cover, may have to buy the set , but better than waiting 2-3 weeks to hear back from Thor.

Thanks for the replies. If anyone has bought one, please let me know where you purchased it. I'll be checking rv supply sites.

Check marine stores as that fitting is common on boats as well.

it's also possible that it has worked its way back into the sewer compartment and is there for you to find, otherwise you could also just place a tupperware type lid over the top of it with something on top of that to weigh it down

Jazz -- Here is a link to the Thor Motorcoach Customer Care site. The site is an email form to contact Thor Customer Service. Fill in all the information to include Year, Model, and especially VIN. Explain to them that the sewer compartment closure disk has become lost and is it possible for them to send you one. Offer to pay for it, but I'll bet they will send you one at no cost. They normally respond to owner's by email within a couple of days.

Good luck.
