Shore battery not charging

Thor 22fe freedom elite
I have been reading on the web site about battery problems. Everybody is doing a lot of testing and not finding anything wrong, but they still have a dead battery. One gentleman mentioned that his stand alone charger would not charge his battery because it current charge level was to low. It occurred to me that maybe I am having a similar problem with my shore power not charging my battery because it is to low to start charging.

Any of you experts have any thoughts on this.

Maybe your shore power is not charging your battery because the converter (charger) is bad.

If you disconnect your battery do your DC loads work?

Do you have a multimeter and know how to use it?

Your house battery(s) should charge one of two ways. When you are plugged into shore power the converter should charge it (them). When you are driving, the vehicles alternator should charge both the chassis battery(s) and the house battery(s). Does yours not charge either way? Can you get voltage readings from your batteries.

Also make sure your use/store switch is on "use".
