Is that a section of bulb seal for the slide? If so there should be a track it slides into.

Can you take a pic of the end profile for confirmation?

I left coach where we keep in storage so not able to take any more photos now. Appears to be u shaped.

Here is photo of opposite side. Don't know how it reattaches or if safe to move slide out.Click image for larger version

Depends on the profile of the seal. Some have on track they slide into while others have two tracks or slots that it snaps into.

Maybe someone with the same model coach will answer with something definitive

Take a picture of the profile of the seal as EA37TS suggested. Like looking end on to the seal. That will tell us what kind of seal and make it easier to tell you where it goes.

That seal either slides or snaps onto 2 rails.

From the photos above of the rail where missing how would you approach reattachment? I reached out to Thor and so far on deaf ears. Dealer is backed up and say they may need it for several days without expliaing why...General RV Ocala.

2 photos...bad side..good side opposite side.Click image for larger version

That seal should just slide in onto the rail, either from the top or bottom. I would pinch the sides of it in before sliding it in because it is obviously too loose if it just fell off. I checked our lot to see if we had an Ace I could look at but that's about the only rig we don't have on the lot, lol.

If it were me with a 2023 still under warranty I’d take it back to the dealer to have the seal replaced as a single strip rather than pieced together. I would also have them verify whether or not that seal is supposed to serve as a wire chase for the slide motor harness. On our prior Challenger the slide motor harnesses ran inside those seals to keep them from flopping around and possibly coming loose. That happened to us on the Challenger’s shakedown causing a slide to stop working when partially extended

Agree with you...I did contact dealer but they are backed up and awaiting an appointment. Since the undamaged side shows no wires I concur that they likely need to be tucked inside. I also reached out to Thor Technical Support and they have not gotten back with me yet.

I removed the bubble seal inside and out side on my Palazzo. Same profile, but white. Did this to expose the Swintek motor. Well you got to start the seal on one side and push hard to get the other side to engage into the track. Work your way up a half inch at a time making sure that both sides are in the track.
