The slides on any Schwintek system installed in a gas powered coach will not move if the coach's ignition system is on, engine running or not.

Is there a manual override to crank in or roll out a slide in a 2017 Thor Siesta?

Did you check the manual for your slide system?

That is incorrect. On our 2020 ACE the engine has to run, battery switch on, parking brake applied, transmission in park......all four conditions have to be met to operate the slides.

I guess plant 750 decided to change the slide protocol they had been using since 2014. It seems that nothing is absolute.

Exactly, we had 2019 Four Winds 24B, switched to the ACE and have to relearn everything.

This is the exact issue we are having with 29m and you’re the only one mentioned the “t-bar”. Thanks for the photo. We’ve tried to use a crowbar but the area between the t-bar and the side is so small. I definitely see where the slide is stopping and hitting the white bar. Any other suggestions ?

T-Bar Interference With Slideout

Hi Laura... In lieu of using a crowbar, it may be possible to "muscle" the slideout away from the interference after releasing the slideout brakes so that it can move more easily. Possibly powering down the 12v to the coach may be a way of releasing those brakes... but I am not sure. I'll be thinking positive thoughts for you!

Thanks so much. We were able to find a "local" motorhome provider that shifted the "T-Bar" from under the slide. Must not have been secure and shifted at somepoint. All is good, slide is closing!
