Murals vs Ace

New to the rv world. Debating between a virtually new (2020) Ace 27.2 and an older (2014) Miramar 34.1. Both have about the same miles and are basically the same price. I know the Miramar is an upgraded model but would appreciate any guidance. Thanks

Too many other unknowns to even comment on this comparison.

Condition of everything; both in the RV and the chassis, miles on the odometer, maintenance history, etc.

Ace has less than 5000 miles. Miramar 9000. Both are in excellent shape.

Welcome to the forum.
The Miramar may not have the modern LED lighting system.
There have also been other upgrades in technology.

About 6 additional feet of length on the Miramar. V8 in the 2020 versus V10 in the 2014. 5 speed trans 2014 versus 6 speed trans 2020. 2 baths versus 1. 22000 lbs versus 16000 lbs GVWR and so on. These two units are not apples to apples. One is a newer entry level class A gasser the other an older upper tier class A gasser.
Lots to consider such as have the tires been replaced on the 2014 ? the batteries the wiper blades etc. etc. Research and decision is up to you.
Personally I would lean toward the newer unit but hey I am biased I own a 27.2

The Miramar is made in Thor plant 850 located in Wakarusa and the ACE is made in plant 750 located in Elkhart. Every Thor Industries plant operates independently with its own designers, engineers, purchasing agents, work force and inspectors. There are probably 200 ACEs produced for every Miramar (my guess; as the ACE is the most popular of Thor Industries class A coaches). These differences, the ages and the size differences make a comparison impossible. I would go with the coach that has the interior layout you like the best. That is why we bought the coaches we have over the past 26 years and not on someone else's advice.

Does the Miramar have the full wall slide and if so has it be upgraded to the Triple Trak system. Triple Tax was not installed until late 2015 or 2016. If it is full wall and not Triple Trak buy at your own risk and have money in the bank for slide issues.
