We are not real tech savvy,I have speakers in the ceiling above the couch but we never got the low down on how to play music. Can anyone help talk me through it.

More than likely the radio is on the house batteries and not the chassis battery.

That radio is such a minor draw on the house batteries compared to other loads while boondocking - I don't think you need to worry about it.

And if you're plugged into SP - no worry at all.

We have a 2012 and in order to power the radio, the key had to be in the second detent/accessory position. Very stupid design so we had it modified to use with the key off entirely. Don't worry about the electrical draw as it is negligible.

Good luck with getting good reception with the POS Axxera radio. I gave up and just stream Pandora via Bluetooth. Next you’ll find the speakers are crap as well. I replaced all 4 with Dual speakers. Good luck.
