Stackable w/d in 2017 Miramar 35.2

Hey all, first timer here. Haven't checked with Thor customer service yet, and maybe this has been answered in this forum before, but we just traded up to a 2017 Miramar 35.2. The washer/dryer space is only tall enough for a combo unit, but there is blank space below. Has anyone moved the bottom board down to make the space tall enough for the stackable washer/dryer?

Welcome,we have a challenger 37fh also thor, our pantry where your hookups are looks exactly like ours and we had camping world install stack washer dryer in ours and couldn't be happier.

Thanks to both of you for replying and for the welcome. I certainly learn a lot on these forums. The 2017 Miramar 35.2 is prepped for a combo, but it sure looks like the bottom shelf could be lowered enough to get a stackable set in there, which the wife much prefers. I'll be doing some more measuring & checking. I think the newer models come prepped for stackable.

Sorry, ours was a pantry with shelves on top and 4 pull out drawers from middle down to the floor,I meant the height and width of your closet is the same size as our pantry even the vents in the doors are the same. Camping world removed the shelves from the top and the drawers from the bottom and installed the stack units so I think the hook ups are the same for stack and combo we had our choice. Hope this helps.

Our stackable is about 4 times as fast as the combo so you will definitely want to go that way if possible
