Super C with W/D - advice please!

The DH and I are ready to size up and I really like the idea of the F550 (driving a 450 now). The DH wants and bath and a half, I want a washer/dryer. I love the look of the BH35, but they've removed the w/d space that was present on the older Chateau and Four Winds. So...

Is it possible to add aftermarket or do I need to look for a 2018 or older?

For those of you that have a w/d, do you love it, hate it?

We are planning to be semi full time in the next 2 years and I want to know exactly what we need to be looking for.

Welcome to the forum and good luck on your hunt. I have no expertise in the area you're looking but I'm sure someone will be along shortly that does.

Having a new BH35, I don't know where you'd put a washer/dryer in it. We've used park facilities to wash/dry, which is fast and can do much more at once, so it hasn't been an issue.

when we started looking at Super Cs we looked at the 2019 and 2020 Magnitudes. None of the floorpans had a washer/dryer and there was nowhere that one could be placed. A WD was not an item on our must have list for a new rig.

We finally settled on the Entegra Accolade and ours came with the washer/dryer combo. We have not used it yet so I can not say what value it may have. The DW has stated she would like Mohave the empty cabinet rather than the WD so it may get removed sometime in the future.

Thanks for the responses. I guess now I have to decide if a w/d is deal breaker for me. I love the Thor BH35, if I had to guess that will be what we settle on. There aren't any dealers close that carry super C, looks like we will head to Texas and do some lookie-loo.

I liked the idea of a W/D when we were Super C shopping. My wife felt like we could make do without it since they are very small.

We ended up liking the Magnitude SV34 from a floor plan and price perspective so having no W/S was not a deal breaker in the end.

We figured we could use the camp laundry as needed. It also meant less weight and less plumbing for new places to leak, etc. as well as more useable space.

We are going to be doing 3 - 4 months a year so we have not experienced deli f with no W/D on long trips yet but I think we will be ok.

I have come to believe that if you want something bad enough, that you can make ANYTHING work in an RV..

One of the owners of an AXIS 24.1 has removed some cabinets and plumbed a combo washer/dryer in..

And if someone can fit a W/D in a AXIS 24,1, I am believing that you could probably fit one in most coaches...

If you’re going to Texas go to Motorhome Specialists in Alvarado. We got our Thor there, they have fantastic prices and are very reputable. You can search for a Thor on their website. We paid 45k lower for our model than what local dealerships in Utah were asking for the same coach.

We have the super C with bath and half. It has the stackable washer and dryer. We love the coach, especially the power, handling, quietness of the diesel and great fuel mileage. DW loves the washer dryer. We would never go back to a C, like on the 350 and 450 van chassis. No comparison.
