Tender-Battery charging of Thor Axis 26.2 tandem coach batteries

Firstly, hope you & yours are safe & healthy in these pandemic times.
My 2 questions:

For our Thor Axis 26.2 motorhome, when charging/tending the coach's tandem batteries with a 5A Battery-Tender, is the coach's Power-Switch to be placed in the "Storage" or "In Use" mode?

With the Battery Tender hooked up to the Negative Pole on one battery & Positive pole on the other battery, about how many weeks should it take for said "fully charged" status appear on said Battery-Tender?

Thanks for your time & assistance. Happy New Year to all!

Welcome to the site.

When using a battery tender I'd put it in store mode and, perhaps, even open the breaker right there in the battery compartment.

Is that a new European model Axis?

Unless the house batteries are completely disconnected from the MH circuit the battery tender may never show fully charged due to:
Parasitic loads such as propane/CO detectors
The BIRD/BIM control power which also connects the chassis battery to the charged circuit.

Since the first two answers hit the nail on the head: I'll just say, "Welcome!"

Thanks to community members that have thus far replied re: my 2016 Thor Axis 26.2 coach tandem-batteries charging/tending questions. But, if i may continue with the following:

Would pausing the 5A Battery-Tender process & hooking-up to the Land/Shore-Line enhance the recharging/maintaining of the coach batteries?
If done this way for awhile, should the coach Power-Switch be "In-Use/On" or "Stored/Off"?
Would running the truck engine for awhile (at rest/idling, not on the road/driving, help the recharging/tending of the coach batteries (via the truck alternator)?
*
* * Thanks again for any feedback already given or upcoming suggestions.
Stay healthy & safe in this continuing pandemic.

If you want to charge the batteries from shore power, or even the engine of your RV: put the switch into "Use" mode.
