Shower leaking palazzo 36.1

Rkmash. I tried to find the pictures I posted of my shower door threshold. Does yours look like the water would run down the door and instead of going in the pan, water would go to the floor? If so, I really think this is a bad design or it was supposed to be installed differently. What do you think?

it is the bottom corner of the shower that leaks. I think it is a poor design... will try making sure the shower head points towards the wall and see if that helps. I have to keep a towel on the floor rolled up to keep the water from running all over the bathroom floor.

Shower leaking palazzo 36.1

Dealer caulked mine in the corner but still pours out when showering. Should not have to put a towel down to catch the water. I'm thinking about putting a drip mold on the door like my shower at home but wanted the dealer and Thor to see the problem when I take it back for other repairs.

Here is a link I found to a rough copy of the manual for the Freightliner LBCU display which will show you how to navigate and program the display the way you want.

Palazzo towing a Dolly

I broke down and bought a Tow Master Dolly and now need a bit of help in the hitch selection. Our coach is still at CW for repairs but I want to get the drop hitch purchased. What are you all using as a drop for best results of the Dolly not dragging the ramps and the butt end of the toad? I'm seeing 6, 8, and 10 inch drops all with the 5k weight rating that covers my needs. Without the coach I can't tell the drop needed on the air ride suspension - what is the drop needed?

it's doubtful you'll need anything as the Palazzo sits so low already... until you hook it up, you won't really be able to know for sure... but I'll doubt you'll need anything.

I had the same problem with my 2014 33.3 Palazzo instrument cluster. The speedometer, tachometer, and all gauges would not come on when the RV was started, or would fail mid-drive. The warning lights and odometer were still working well. Mysteriously it would come back on randomly. At first it was rare but became more frequent, lasting hours at a time. I looked at all the connections and could not find a loose ground or other loose wire. We kept track of mileage for fuel consumption and our GPS listed our speed. Then last week I found a loose relay or circuit breaker in the fuse box under the drivers area that controls the chassis circuits. I pushed the realy firmly into the fuse box and viola - the gauges work again. Since the problem is intermittent not sure if this is the cure but will wait and see. If not, who did you contact at Freightliner and did you proceed with changing out the computer for the instrument cluster? The gauges are separate components.

Yes we have a 2014 33.3 Palazzo with the over-cab drop down bed and residential fridge. Lots of problems with the large slide - needed 3 repairs to get it solved. Instrument cluster problems; water pump broke - cabinet and door repairs; leaking passenger window, upholstery failing at 4 years etc. However the floor plan is great, the engine and drive train work well, good gas mileage, great storage, strong generator for boon docking, drives nicely and very comfortable.

while I didn't have the instrument power problem, I HAVE replaced the fuse cluster board in the driver side bay, with a replacement from Thor... My issue was that at one point the wipers would not work. Found the blown 5a fuse, replaced...within minutes the same thing happened again - replaced with 10a, and no issues since then in 70,000 miles since...

but, when I was originally in the bay looking at the fuses, I saw several red lights on for several relay 'blocks'... thinking that something was wrong, even though I had no 'symptoms' of anything wrong, I contacted Thor. The engineer said that you should have no 'lights' when everything on the board is working properly, as the light is an indicator that a fuse is blown, etc.
I easily replaced the board with the new one, yet the same 'lights' shown on the new board as well. And, since then, with no symptoms of any issues, I've drove another 65,000 miles with no issues - can't tell why the lights are powered for these relays, though.

Palazzo GPS

Have put a hold deposit on a 2019 Palazzo 33.2 and hope to pick it up within next 10 days.
What is the GPS software on this model? Garmin, Rand McNally, iGo, etc.?
Trying to decide if we need to go with additional GPS unit such as Garmin 770 or 780.
Thanks,

Has anyone done alignment on their Palazzo in southern California? I can't find anyplace to charge less than $400. Any help would be greatly appreciated. (LA & OC)

We are new to this. We just got our 2105 Palazzo 33.2 and were trying to get a better ride by upgrading the suspension, and someone suggested that we need to do alignment (front & rear) and just add Safe-T-Plus after alignment and you should be good to go.
