Smile THOR 24.1 revised manual

Hi, I am HJ. We have a 2017 Thor Axis 24.1. Having issues with the HUD Display going blank. Lost signal in a storm and died. Any thoughts? Our only copy of the manual died when our computer crashed. Lost in the cloud.:

Welcome to the forum!

You should create an owner's account on the Thor website. You will be able to download or view every manual for every component of your coach (by your VIN). There are also many videos tailored to your RV.

There is also a "modified" version of your owner's manual available here. One of the members took the time to create it. I am sure somebody will chime in with a link.

By the way, you don't have HUD, I assume you were referring to your dash head unit.

Thanks for the feedback. Good recommendations I was not aware of. Found the link on Google for the modified manual. Still troubleshooting the "dash head unit" with no luck so far. Excited about results from your advice on using the owners account.
Found many threads about the Axeera issues. Moving forward.

100amp circuit breaker near the house batteries?
If that breaker is off (you’ll see a yellow flag) then there’s no power to the Axxera Head Unit
(Is that what you’re talkin ‘bout?)

Found the tripped switch that caused the Axxera Display to malfunction. Radio and Side Mirror Camera's Display now work. However the Rear Camera is still not working in reverse or when selected on the dash monitor. Any more ideas?

Huh...not sure why it’s not working in reverse unless you pulled the unit and accidentally disconnected the plugs.
You can also try a “reset” with the end of a pin on the faceplate.

I do know that when the breaker is off or house battery disconnected the Axxera does a quasi reset and loses its memory settings

For me to get the rear camera working correctly, I go to home - settings, and scroll down to camera icon
Then toggle to “on”

Then I can turn on rear camera while driving

If you disconnect house batteries or that 100amp breaker is flipped off...
You’ll need to reset everything again

Axxera not working

Thanks everyone for all the help and suggestions. Right now I believe the problem is located with frayed wires under the hood in the engine compartment. Not sure how that happened but it needs to be corrected at this point. Also, at this moment, everything is working. See what happens after the wires are spliced.

Go to the Thor Owners Resource website and create an account with your VIN to see the manuals and other info pertinent to your RV.
