Possible buying an ACE 32.1

Hello everyone

I'm looking into buying a 18/19 Ace 32.1

Currently I own a class C 2006 winnebago outlook 31
This is going to be our first new Rv .

I have a couple questions.
Are there some specific points I should pay more attention during the walkthrough .

What would be a real mileage expectation for this unit .
I will be driving back to Florida from either Texas or Virginia

I found a used 2018 unit with 1300 miles for 77k but dealer told me the bumper to bumper warranty is not transferable.
Would you consider this a deal breaker.
A new 2018 is running for low 80s

How is the ride/handle.of the Thor class A vs a class C

Thanks in advance for any inputs

Welcome to the site.

During the walkthrough you need to pay attention to all points LOL. Make sure everything works: extend/retract the slides multiple times, exercise the water system (both with the pump and the city hookup), furnace, a/c, refer, generator, etc. Everything.

I believe the ACE's were getting 6-9 mpg (some ACE owner's will correct me).

Thank you for the replay .
I agree everything is important but there are always weak points that should be double checked
Things like specifics places prone to leaks , seals , electrical issues , common problems which even manufacturers know but dont fix

Mpg @ 6-8 isnt far from my old C class . I was hopping 7-9 but ok . Not big deal

To me the slide operation was different. As the slide motors have to stay in sinc with each other. Learning the proper way to use them, ie you cannot stop the operation at anytime while either bring them in or out. You also have to keep the switch on a few seconds after movement so the motors can stay in sinc. Same hold true with over head bunk in you have one.

Most everything else operates the same unit to unit. As for mileage, I guess somewhere around 8. I do not really check because it makes no difference. I am going to go no matter what.
