Beyond noise I wouldn't want the exhaust blowing so close towards people sitting under awning. Additionally, it sits just under rear edge of awning, so installing a Venturi extension to discharge exhaust above roof may be more difficult with awning above. Perhaps installing Venturi at an angle may work OK. For tailgating at college games we've gone last two years they require Venturi on all generators (not that everyone complies).
Walked around the casino Rv parking area and listened to the gens going everyone watching the play offs. Trailers with Hondas sounded lowest by far. Onan Gas or Diesel too loud IMHO.

I was slightly off with information. Honda rates noise at full load and at 1/4 load, not at half load.

They are still much quieter than most Onans. The 2,000-watt does start at 53 decibels at 1/4 load, but the larger 3,000-watt starts at only 49 decibels at 1/4 load. Even at full load it is still in high 50s.

In any case I would have a hard time buying a motorhome with generator on awning/patio side. Why put up with noise and exhaust when it can be on other side of RV? In this case I'd guess they couldn't install Onan on driver side because of space or weight distribution, but that's another problem altogether.

Honda is quiet, I've had people at events ask where I was getting 120 from, they didn't hear the Honda running. I usually just say I have a VERY long extension cord, kinda bothers me that some people actually believe that!

and that it has good leg room even with the slide in.

The counter space in the galley is small or atleast smaller than mine (but they all are) and the beds don't look comfortable. Going to need gel pad and have to store them at my age my wife and I would need them.

Most get the 24.1 its the most popular. Difference I see between the 24.1 and 25.5 is the beds are better on 24 and the bathroom is nicer on 25.

I thinks that's two cents worth
Yup that is how I made my decision, figured Id spend more time in bed than in the bathroom! Do wish they had the dinette instead of couch but Cyndi advises the dogs prefer the couch so I am out voted! 24.1 it is!

Love the 24.1 all we could ask for and more.

Like the 2 twins in back added a topper and wife and I are sleeping like babies.

Happy trails

Am I missing something here? We have a 25.2 and it looks like a couch there in the front. Unless you are counting a couch and removable table as a dinette....:-)

I went with 2018 Vegas 24.1. I liked the 25.5 but we couldnt get over having to stumble across bed to get to bathroom issue.

Liking the Vegas 25.5

We just bought a 2017 Vegas 25.5 and we're loving it!
There is one peculiar thing about it though, that I haven't seen mentioned anywhere. This unit actually has two black tank valves. The first one is underneath the coach right at the black tank and the other one is in the terminal compartment.
I've never seen this arrangement on any other RV, and was wondering why it is not mentioned in the tank dumping instructions.

My 25.3 is the same way. Luckily I spotted it the first week with the unit when it was on lift for the front wheel alignment. It keeps blackwater out of the cross drain tube which could, I'm thinking, build up on debris.

It is between this floor plan and venerable 24.1 for us so far in our search.

Here it is: https://youtu.be/M_eFQlgM2gE

I would love to know your thoughts.

That's got more inside storage than my ace 29.2

I realize this thread is a little old, but wanted to add some thoughts for future lookers.
We have the 25.2 and are happy with our decision. We prefer the couch to the dinette, having had both. The 25.2 has the rear slide which gives you a 28 foot coach when parked, and a walk around bed.

The 25.2 has the generator on the back side instead of patio side, this is big for us.

And the big shower is great.
