Is your "Thor Certified maintenance person" up to it?

And what does "Thor certified" mean? AFAIK Thor doesn't certify anything/anyone. They may approve a third party to do warranty work, but "Certification" is a different animal.
“As far as I Know”! I’m playing the abbreviation game.

Duck was just saying that if you really want to bake, don’t get an RV propane unit. They are hard to control the temp. On another forum we read about putting a pizza stone in it to better distribute the heat. It works. However, if I were to replace the rv cooktop/oven in mine, as previously mentioned, I’d go with a microwave convection oven and replace the overhead microwave. Then I’d add a 2 burner propane cooktop. That would allow me to open up more storage space where the oven used to be. In our 28 ft class A storage is at a premium.

But we rarely cook inside. I’ve got a Weber Q 2200 and have figured out how to not only grill, but I fry on it. I bake in it. I roast in it. And I use a little 2 burner cooktop outside if I need to use a skillet or pan.

Good luck with the mod. Would love to see some pics of the finished project.

We have had full size convection microwave ovens since the early 2000's in our RV's

They have all worked better than any propane oven in the previous 40 plus years

The long term trend is away from propane

Got any pics of your dishwasher/cook top installation? What brands/models did you use? I’d be interested in doing a similar upgrade. We almost never use our propane oven due to how much it heats up the coach. We do use the convection oven in the microwave/convection combo.

The cook top is an Atwood. I wanted to do an induction cooktop but the power that is needed wouldn’t had worked due the dishwasher, microwave being on the same circuit. The top I got from RV surplus was only 150 bucks.

The dishwasher I got was costway. It’s just a small one because my wife wanted to keep the drawer that was below the oven. But the washer was only 400 bucks. There are units that cost a lot more and hold more dishes then this unit. But this works for what we need.

I can say we use significantly less water using the washer versus the hand washing.
