Thor Pallazo Upper Bunk

How do we lock the bunk
We have pins they seem to fall out when driving causing the bunk to fall
Where do the pins lock in there are 2 holes do we need pins in both and how many in hes is correct for fit. We had it repaired and they whomever at. A.ping world shorten the pins they done even fit right we ordered new ones. So can anyone give us instructions tons on this matter. Is dangerous to be driving when the bunk doesn't stay in place someone please. Thank you rgds LP.

Once the pins are in, move the bed down so they rest on the pins. They won’t come out like that.

When my bunk comes down a bit while driving and rests on the pins, I cannot get those pins out without raising it up to top first.

Overhead bunk pin solution with thicker mattress

On a related issue we replaced the original 4" foam mattress with 6" memory foam. The problem is that the loft will now not go all the way to the ceiling, stops 1" short and the pin holes do not line up. I made a small u bolt gizmo that bridges the 1" gap. We place it in the hole and then drop the loft a half inch which pins it in place.
