Thor Super C

Is anyone experiencing a loud buzzing noise in the cab when the rig is engaged? When I return it to park it goes away. I thought it might be the back up camera but I have turned that volume down to zero and still hear it. I called a Ford dealership that works on the F550 chassis and they are certain it isn’t related to Ford, but an electrical addition for the RV....TIA

When I use my left turn signal, the ASA display for the side and rear cameras will buzz a little.

Other than that I can’t say I hear anything out of the ordinary.

Go to a Ford dealer and sit in a 550.
My avalanche used to buzz. It was that speaker looking thingy in the headliner over my left ear.

There's so many engine things which could cause it.
Vacuum lines making noise
Steering
A relay sending trans fluid different places like a cooler.

Sit in a truck without the coach.

I do have any buzzing except for the turn signals will buzz after a few seconds, I am assuming that it is the camera system with a signal buzzer. Are others hearing something outside of that?

On mine it only occurs with the left turn. Took it to dealer and they blamed it on Ford but since it appears to come from camera system, which I am assuming Thor installed, I did not take it to Ford. Since it is just mildly annoying I just dropped it.

First I'd like to say "Thanks' to EA37TS for creating the Super C thread. I bought a Thor OMNI XG32 back in May and just love it!

I get ducksface's point regarding lack of posts for specific models, but its still nice to narrow down the issues.

Regarding cab noise, I don't hear the buzzing, but I do hear a rattle/vibration noise coming from the cab wall near the seat belt anchor. Comes and goes. Maddening!!

Trans west RV and trailer in Belton Mo.
Any Thor dealer should be able to do it for you. It is covered under warranty

We have a Trans West here in Denver. Should check them out. Recently had it at the Lazydays in Aurora I purchased it from and they forgot it was there. Took five weeks for some minor work. They live up to their name every time!

Trans west has been great here. They had my RV for 4 days to replace the windows and fix the Mobile Eye.

So third trip with XG32 and using the heat. At what point do you think the sawdust will stop coming out of the heat vents? Geez you think they would have covered the vents when building the unit. Oh well have brought a small hand vacuum to clean up each morning.

You are better off removing all the vent and getting into every area in the coach you can and break out the shop vac.

Same thing with the small styrofoam balls from the A/C vents. I actually removed the A/C vents and trimmed the styrofoam for better airflow. I got the shop-vac in there before, during and after trimming and we still get little white pieces of styrofoam in the coach.

There was a ton of construction debris under the bed. I actually found sheet metal screws and saw dust inside my transfer switch.

Sitting at a KOA in Pigeon Forger today I decided to clean the bugs from the living area LED light lens. Turns out it's not bug in the lens but rather fine chards of styrofoam.

Hey EA37TS, we're camping at the pigeon forge rv resort also. What's up with all the traffic? The leaves aren't changing yet.

Don’t tell my wife the leaves aren’t changing yet. Hopefully they will in the next 10 days. The last three years she picked the dates and places where she thought we would hit the peak for leaves..... we’re 0 for 3 so far!

So the traffic is heavy in the Smokies?
