Tell us more about the grill you bought and how you have it connected to the quick connect fitting.

Many quick connect fittings have an isolation valve near the connection point. If so, is it open?

Your propane supply from the quick disconnect is regulated down to a low pressure. Most small grills use the 1 pound bottles which are high pressure and the grill has its own regulator to make it low pressure. So if you still have that grill's regulator in the mix you will get very little, if any, propane to the burner.

Probably over two dozen threads on this on this Forum alone.

That's a long run also...if Ted's solution isn't the issue, the line may be full of air.

The specifications and manual show it uses the 1 lb propane bottles.

There is a kit to adapt it for RV use that adds about $50. Is that what you have? A picture of the hose connection to the grill would help eliminate that as a possibility.

Did the instructions for the upgrade tell you to remove the regulator before connecting the hose. More than likely you need to do the same things folks do when they convert a Q to use on board LPG.
