Have an incoming filter but won’t even brush my teeth with it.

Not sure if our RV has a filter built in, do not think so.
But, with our peculiarities, we resolve to bring drinking/cooking/teeth brushing water with us.
With as much as I have invested in house filtration, (being well water), from iron removal, chlorinator, and de-chlorination filters, the water tests safe and potable.
It only makes sense to us.
Then we installed a reverse osmosis for drinking and cooking water in the house.
For now, we bring what we need and are rarely gone over a week at a time in this stage of our camping life.
When that isn't enough, we will figure something out then.

I use a 75gpd ro to fill the fresh water tank when in areas of problematic water or unknown quality

Takes a day or a bit more to fill but it gives us great quality water throughout the coach

I store it in a plastic tote when not in use and you need to winterize it also if not going South

Hmm I'm changing the RO system in the house. I should take the old one and use it as a portable system to fill the RV of our well water at home!

Same here. I grew up drinking water out of the creek behind the house. I was on the BOD of a private campground for a while and the water supply had to be tested annually or shutdown. We belong to another private campground and it is the same - annual testing. I would expect most states require this type of testing.

And some states require monthly water well testing if water is to be provided for public consumption.
