Toilet Won't hold water NOT THE SEAL

good morning all! I have a 2014 Thor ACE 29.2 with a Thetford Auqa Magic ll. I ordered replacement seals and replaced, exact same issue. water is gone in seconds. After taking apart again, I noticed the waste ball wasn't exactly centered in the closed position (uneven space around the opening). Is this common? Do I replace just the waste ball? the lower unit? or just get a new toilet? Thanks!!

It sounds as if the mechanism that lifts the ball might have a bit of an alignment problem.
Have you tried loosening it, and see if it naturally centers itself?

See pic, seems the waste ball is too small, maybe previous owner replaced

Was the gasket you used a Thetford part or a generic brand? Last fall our toilet began not holding water, loosing it slowly. When I stopped at our local RV dealer for parts for the repair, he didn't have what I needed, but he did suggest replacing both the gasket and ball at the same time. He also cautioned against using generic parts. Good luck.

Hello, after blowing up the picture the ball valve looks like it's in the right position. Your seal looks pinched. Look at it bulging on one side in the picture. Hope this helps
