When you get a chance, and after a few miles on new rig, could you report on how the transmission functions in RV application? Perhaps you can start a new thread on that subject to avoid high-jacking this one.

There's been some discussion on whether it will make downshifts smoother. Also about improved manual control of gear selection, and perhaps even improving fuel economy. Anything you can report will be greatly appreciated.

On my 2014 Vegas, I put a dash mat on the dash board. Thy are custom-made from Dashmat.com ad fit perfectly. The mat is well made, and really quiets the cab area down a lot. I also put Fatmax sound deadener on the underside of the doghouse. Just these 2 additions makes the cab much less noisy. I also, as I mentioned in previous replies, installed a Safe-t-Plus steering stabilizer for front tire blow-out control, and easier more comfortable handling. Huge difference in steering control and much less effort to keep coach in lanes on highway. Also for safety I installed a tire-pressure monitor system for the coach and my tow-behind car. Peace of mind. I also made dozens of improvements to the coach on my own after many trips back for warranty work. We are finally happy with our Vegas. We did go through hell for a year getting to this point, though.
