Sumo springs install issue

I have given up and called my mechanic friend. I own a 2017 Thor ACE 27.2 with an f53 chassis. I am installing front axle Sumo Springs. I installed the top piece without issue but the bracket for the bottom doesn’t seem to fit well especially towards the front. I really don’t want to do it wrong. The leaf spring has a lip to if I put it behind that lip the nut won’t go on the carriage bolt because of being to close to the axle. If I push it forward then it seems to be not well set and uneven. I will try to attach a pic. Any thoughts?

It's been several years since I installed mine. I know it only took about 1 hour to do both sides. I just followed the included Instructions

Wish I could help you but I dont remember any issues with the bracket

I'd say step back read the instructions again and maybe search for a video

Good luck

Jerry

I bought my Sumo Springs direct and hired a Authorized Sumo Springs Dealer install. They drove fine, but I thought the from springs didn't quite look right. Took it back to Dealer and Dealer said it was normal

So I called Sumo Springs directly while on the Dealer's lot, and just from what I described Sumo Springs called the Dealer. They went back out spent about 20 minutes on the phone and two guys, I tried to be nosey to se what they were doing but I also wanted to stay out the way. They finished up and it was perfect.

You might say, well what did they do The answer is I don't know; my point is to call Sumo Springs. Relative to the what I view as overpriced cost to buy the Sumo Springs; the labor I paid the Sumo Springs Dealer was well worth it.

I love my Sumo Springs and glad I did it early.
