TV Antenna splitter
Hello all! I have a 2016 Hurricane.
Last night I set up in the Keys, scanned ota channels for my TV and everything worked as it should.
Today I turned on the TV and had to rescan the channels again, but no channels.
Checked the antenna splitter/booster and light is on.
Tried several times with splitter switch on, then off. Still no channels.
Called Thor......no help.
Does anyone know how I can check the splitter to see if it is malfunctioning?
Thanks in advance.

Try bypassing the splitter. Take the antenna cable and use a male/male coupling to connect directly to the TV cable
If tv works your splitter isn't

What Jerry said would work if you had a discrete splitter, but most RVs have the power injector integrated into the splitter, so bypassing that would mean no amplification in the antenna and almost a 0% chance of getting any channels these days..
It is likely you have a poor coax connection somewhere: Check them all for tightness including the ones on the roof if you have the Winegard Batwing antenna.. I did have one travel trailer with symptoms as you described and it turned out the amplifier board in the batwing antenna had gone bad.

Thanks Ace, my splitter is also a booster so I knew I couldn't just bypass it to see if it was bad.
Will check all the connections I can get to.
Tried to get the panel out but it only came out about an inch. Don't know how I could even replace it if it is bad..... how in the world do they even install this stuff!

I don't know much about you model. I assume that you have more than one TV? Try another TV and see if it will scan and pick up channels.

I didn't know the splitter box also added power. So it adds more power in addition to the booster button I need to push located on the wall inside the cabinet
Reason I ask is because my splitter box is turned off. When I watch TV by antenna I just hit the booster button
I always thought the splitter box was more for the DVD player to send it to all three tvs
Again I don't use the splitter because I added a DVD player to the bedroom and that's where we watch DVD

Thanks to all that responded. I did try using the tvs again the other day. (RV is stored at a storage lot) They worked then, so I guess now I have to run down a loose connection....

Depends on the RV and what you call a "splitter".
Some have a BOMB (Box Of Many Buttons) for entertainment center inputs/outputs; but in the TV only RVs the "booster button" is actually attached to a multi-function device that does 3 things:
1 - it injects 12 VDC to the lead to the antenna - this powers the RF amplifier in the antenna head.
2 - It selects between two inputs (the antenna and CATV) and directs them to the output connection, switching between them depending on the status of the power injector button.
3 - It splits the output to two or three TVs. This "Splitter" function is not always integrated into the power injector device.

The figure shown above in normally called the antenna booster & splits the cable & OTA signals while boosting the OTA signals.
With multiple tvs you'll have at least one other splitter (see below) hidden in the ceiling or wall, usually close to the booster, to provide both cable & OTA signal to all the tvs.
Find this splitter & check tightness & be sure the cables are connected correctly, the incoming on the "in" & "out" to the cables to all the tvs. You can buy a cable toner for a few $$ at most hardware stores to trace the cables.

Thanks again. I tried to get access to my booster button, but could not get to it from behind. Tried to unscrew it and pull it out... only came out less than an inch, could not even get access to try and tighten up the connections. Also have no idea how to even find the non powered cable splitter. This crap is well hidden and is probably assembled before the panels even get put up. Mine is in a small cabinet above the microwave on the left hand wall and that wall butts up to another cabinet wall but with no access. Think the only way to get to it is to take off the inside wall of the other cabinet. But can I do that without messing it up too much?? Any thoughts there?

I/we were talking about two different things. My fault in my first post. I was talking about the entertainment bomb
