Usb not charging

HELLO,
QUICK QUESTION. HAS ANYONE HAD TROUBLE CHARGING THEIR PHONE VIA THE USB PORT IN THEIR RV?
WE HAVE A 2017 WINDSPORT 31S. WHEN WE PLUG IN OUR CELL PHONES TO CHARGE, A DISPLAY SHOWS FOR USE TO USE ORIGINAL CHARGING EQUIPMENT AND WE ARE. IT ALSO MAKES A NOISE( kinda like a bell) AND KEEPS REPEATING, USE ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT. OUR PHONES DONT GET CHARGED. ANY IDEAS?

If you had purchased a DRV, you would not have that problem.

Usually when the phone keeps making the bell noise that means it is going in and out of charging mode. Probably a bad USB charger port. If you have a 110 outlet, use that with a portable charger. I plugged in a small fan that uses the charger in my bedroom and it blew the stupid thing. No way of fixing it without replacing it. Now I just use a charging adapter instead. Usually they are much better and faster anyway.

FYI: Don't use caps when typing. Only use them in a paragraph it your yelling.

Exactly which USB port are you plugging into? Sounds like you are plugging into a low power USB port (.5 amp) and your phone prefers that you use a high power USB port (2.1 amp or higher) - that's why your phone is telling you to use the OEM charger and probably also saying something about "slow charging", not "no charging".

I don't believe DRV makes a Class A motor coach, but only a tag-a-long.

Does the USB port charge anything else? When new, the USB port in my Hurricanes bedroom was not wired correctly and it didn't work until.
