Vacationing in your Axis/Vegas

one of the reasons I am leaning towards the Axis/Vegas is I was hoping we could do site seeing without towing a car. So for instance heading to Niagra Falls would we be able take the RV to the falls and park in the lot ? And apply this to any other touristy stops across the country? What experience to you current owners have?

I have photos:

A local outlet mall:

Near the Route 66 Museum:

Another tourist stop on Route 66:

Nashville Parthenon:

Wigwam Village:

She is taking an Axis (or Vegas I forget which) around every state in the US this year with only her and a dog (no car).

When we have used only the Axis (as seen above) we'll either stop along the way and then not leave the campground, or rent a car if we're doing any "large" exploring of the area.

Now we have a dolly so we just take a car with us.

Hi ! Jamie pretty well nailed it !!
We have had 3 previous rv's .. 2 motorhomes .. our first 21', second a 25' class B+ ... the great thing about 25' (Axis 24.1) is, as Jamies photos show...you can park it just about anywhere ! ... fast food parking lots...Grand Canyon parking lot (yes, really)...on the street .. it just works !!

That's really good to know - I did my first test drive today not as scary as I thought it would be.

I do pretty much the same thing with our 32ft class c.
It is the same chassis after all, right? So the only difference is mine is a wee bit longer.....
but I can park accross 2 spaces just like in the 1st picture earlier..... although 4 for the extra width is better

Although we normally have a dinghy; we bought the Axis specifically for it's size. Fits many NPS CG's without a problem.
