Vegas/Axis Winterization

On the 25.1, the water heater has the appropriate valves to isolate it but the water pump doesn't have a bypass hose to pump antifreeze directly from the jugs.

Is this same on the 24.1?

Thanks,

Bruce

The 24.1 has a "raised" input pipe just before the pump with a valve to the tank. You shut the valve and add a hose from the input pipe to your gallon of antifreeze. Works really well. The 24.1 takes just under two gallons to winterize.

For those interested in the thier plumping location for the Axis/Vegas. You can see the location for the winterization inlet or any other issues you might need the diagram for.

I want to winterize a 2019 axis 25.6 and have been unable to access the valve between the tank and the pump the valve is over 40+inches from the access and is cocked towards the tank so the tool i made to reach it won't engage the valve. and its getting cold here in upstate new york!!

Welcome to the site. Is there another panel you can remove to get access to the valve? Look carefully you may find a drawer or something you can pull out to get there.

That is specific to the 24.1. Others can be drastically different.

I am having trouble finding information on the best way to winterize. Are there any posts that help. I called customer service and they can only give generic description.
