Overhead drop down bed

We put the bed down, but now it has lost all power to the bed and we can't get it to go up so we can drive. Suggestions???

Is the engine already running? Parking break set? I can't remember what fail safes it has compared to the other slide outs.

Mine will not function with the engine running. That said I often drive with it down.

You don't say what kind of coach you have. Locate the controller for the bed and check for power and codes.

The control panel on mine is in that left cabinet over the driver. It should have a code on it or else not have any power.

Any flashing codes on the controller?

Verify you have 12v power at the controller... No power here and motors won't move (or hold bed/slide in place)

Verify you have 12v power on the center pin of the extend/retract switch... No power here and it can't send the extend/retract signal to the controller. Check the key switch (disconnects that power) or bypass jumping a nearby 12v source to center pin of extend/retract.

No way to drive my Hurricane with bed down... windshield completely covered by the platform and cabinets that lower with it.
