Washer/Dryer Question
Looking for feedback on washer dryers, who is using a combo unit and who has two separate pieces? Pros/cons? Who has a combo and wishes they had seperate pieces or vice versa?
Other than the obvious, less weight/space, no need to xfer clothes! What else should I consider??
Thanks

I have also been wrestling with the same questions.
My motorhome came prepped for a washer/dryer installation, (except for an external vent). Having to cut a new hole into the shiny new polished and perfectly fine fiberglass exterior wall has been the number one thing preventing me from just slapping a vented dryer in. I have heard that the new ventless dryers and washer/dryer combo units do not produce enough moisture to cause mold.
However, I have seen 1990's 5th wheel trailers and motorhomes with the first generation ventless units full of mold, rotted out ceiling luan. and rotted cabinet wood. Not pretty.

Thanks for the info, contemplating the Splendide 7100XC, like you, I'm not crazy about drilling a hole in the side of my new coach, it has enough problems already!!!

For me personally, I'd do whatever was required to get a vent installed on the dryer. Our Thor 31 F manual is quite explicit on the need to maintain a dry interior environment. Perhaps you could vent out the roof if you don't want to scar the side of your MH.

Our '15 Hurricane was pre plumbed for the washer dryer. We had Camping World install a stackable unit before pick up....can't recall the brand, but works great. Vent was simply added to the side of the coach......just like home Spin cycle does vibrate the coach just a tad, but other that, its very nice.

We've had both, now have Stackable Spendides in our Tuscany. If you do a lot of washing, or wait several days to do your washing, you get a lot more production our of stackables. The downside is the loss of storage area, the extra unit takes up a lot of space which some may value. Drying still runs on 110V, so it's still slow, but you can be doing another wash load while drying if you have stackables.

Washer/Dryer question
We have the Whirlpool stackable and would totally recommend them. The outside vent looks great.

I was wondering if you could add pictures of the vent, and it's location inside and out? Thanks!
Did your '15 Hurricane 34e come with the stove vented to the outside?

I don't think the stove is vented to the outside. The washer/dryer is in the wardrobe closet right across from the half bath....I won't be back out to the MH for a few days...but I will try to remember to take some pics!

Well, I take that back, I just looked at the installation receipt and I guess I did get the chrome one also!! and the brand of our washer/dryer is Ariston.

Washer/Dryer Question
The chrome one does look sharp. Sorry that I forgot to flip the picture of Washer/Dryer.

That chrome vent looks purdy! I might not be too adverse to the idea of boring a cavity into the laminated fiberglass side wall of my shiny coach for the placement of such a device.
