Challenger question 3

Hello I was watching a view walk around on a Challenger 37KT and saw two dump stations. One for black and one for gray? Two gray tanks? Do I need to move the hose from one to another?

Thanks

KC

My 37ND has 2 gray tanks and one black. The way it is plumbed is all fixtures on the passenger side (shower, outdoor sink, washer (if installed) go into the rear gray tank and the fixtures on the driver's side (kitchen and bathroom sinks) go into the front gray tank.

I use a Y sewer connection to run dump both gray tanks at one time or to keep both open when connected to sewer.

The 37KT has everything on the driver side. Optional washer/dryer is on Pass. side but I have not see a stock unit with them installed.

The layout of the tanks is something that varies by floor plans within the Challenger line. On one floor plan there are two black tanks and one gray while on mine there are two gray and one black.

One of the folks with a 37KT may be able to tell you how their floor plan is plumbed; however, to the original question a sewer hose Y connector and an additional section of hose may be an nice to have or a necessity depending on the waste tank configuration. Looking at the specs for the KT it appears as though it has 2 gray tanks and 1 black tank.

the front grey dump is for the washer (if installed). Everything else goes into the rear grey tank.

Does that mean that if there is no washer installed that grey tank is not used?
