Wheel Alignment, Austin. TX

Hi All,
Just some info for those in the Austin Area.
Needed to get Wheel Alignment done on my A.C.E and after getting a $520 quote from the local Crestview ...gasp. I went to Purcell's on I35, great staff and only $110 for the front to be aligned. Good choice and prices on tires also, good to know for the future.

Also, Ford said they would refund the cost if I brought in the receipt. There was no Ford dealership locally that was able to work on the MH. (Ford does offer one free alignment up to 12mths/12k miles.

ps. The alignment made a big improvement with handling on the way home.

Hello Texan,

Is the Ford alignment reimbursement is Ford policy for all of their chassis or just your particular model? If for all, how would we contact them for this benefit?

Hi Tamdle,
Check your Ford warranty info/booklet, mine stated 12mths/12k miles for 1 wheel alignment. The only reason I went non Ford was because they had no facility locally that could fit in the MH. I went into the local Ford dealership (cars/suv's only) discussed the situation with them and got an ok to do it elsewhere, l guess was pre-approval of sorts...
