Windshield Sunshade won’t go up or down

I have a 2023 Thor Hurricane 29m and I can’t get the front windshield sunshade to go up or down. Checked fuses, flipped all the breakers, tried with the generator on and off, I’ve clicked the little button hanging in the upper left hand corner while pressing the up button on the dash and it beeps a few times and nothing happens. I’m stumped.

Did you verify it is getting the right voltage to the motor when switch is engaged? Your symptoms sound like a defective motor

The shade run on 12VDC, do you have the battery disconnect switch in use/on. Some shades run on a programing, check and see if you have 1 of those type and maybe reprogram it if necessary.

If you pushed the button and it beeped:
You've reset the up and down and may have reset both to be in the same position...so it is working but You've reset it.

The button is ONLY to set stops both upper and lower.
Do you have the manual that came with your coach?

If you dont have a multimeter or circuit tester you don't know where the 12v is or isn't.

If you dont have the instructions for that shade;
I have posted them on this forum maybe 39 times.

I no longer have them handy but they're here if you use the right search parameters.

See that "QUOTE" button at the bottom of every post? Use it to reply to a specific post instead of talking to the crowd.

That's because some people use the "Share" link on Youtube ionstead of the actual URL to embed the video in the post. Look at it now and see the difference.
