Well, now that I know how it is supposed to operate, it's not a big deal too me. Would kind of be nice to have a modern digital one though. Maybe that will be on the upgrade list!

Here is the upgrade I did (this isn't my web page but its the same model Hunter Thermostat we put in and they are doing it on a Keystone Cougar--the same brand of 5th wheel we had; just a different model):
Hunter 42999B Digital RV Thermostat - Upgrading the OEM Thermostat
(I did not put in the high/low fan speed switch though.)
