Ghost Banner Bar At Bottom Of Page
Anybody else getting this on this site? Happens on multiple PCs periodically using a Chromium based browser. Doesn't always show up and when it does I can hit the "X" and close it but it's still annoying when it shows up.

And therein lies the answer to the Ghost Banner and the answer as to why no Admin has shown an interest in this thread.
This banner shows up on all browsers but if you are not running an ad-blocker you will see ads on it:
BTW that makes a total of 6 different ads just on the home page. I get the need for ads, but pretty soon this place is gonna look like those ad rabbit holes from AOL, MSN. Weather Channel and Yahoo that promise an interesting story but you have to click through a dozen pages full of ads (including self-running video ads) to get to it.

They've added new adds all over the place (more than before). Depending on how your browser handles changes what you may see. Be thankful you aren't seeing all of them. I get the need for advertising on free sites but this last push is over the top.

Hey folks - the bottom banner ad has removed for been active members with 10 or more posts. Hopefully this will improve the surfing experience for dedicated members and encourage lurkers to step up their game

I still get that banner and I switch from I.E to google chrome,tried firefox and its too slow and half my webpages wont load, I only get it when signing in though.

I get it also. I just go ahead and login and it goes away. I think clicking the "x" to make it go away activates your camera with a see-through clothing app. Nasty thought!
